Collar, tag, and leash.

We bought all of the aforementioned items for Tuesday on Saturday.

No real surprise here: We're keeping her.

While there are many differences between her and her, we still do find ourselves freaked out by the appearance similarities from time to time. But she needs us, and that was the agreement: We would wait for a dog who needed us, and us specifically. Who else is going to adopt a 5-year-old, 60-something-pound dog? (In the last three months, no one.)

She truly isn't a "replacement." The grief, though subtle, is still around.

But Tuesday is around, too. She is gentle, and sweet, and beautiful, and she has a home now.

Yay for Tuesday, and yay for you all. I know she won't replace Cub, but she'll make her own place in your hearts. Good for you for adopting an 'adult' dog, too.
Can't wait to hear more about her.

You made me smile. I'm so glad you found a new doggy to fill your home. She looks soft and sweet.

Tux has had about all he can stand of Gal - my mom's rat terrior. She yips and bites at his heels every time she goes in the backyard.

Today, I threw the ball for Tux. Mind you, it was a ball that was cracked halfway down the middle. He does that.

This is sooo cool! I'm really happy for you and I bet Tuesday's graceful, long-haired till is still wagging like mad.

Congrats!

sigh.
how beautiful.
blessings on you all...Tuesday and the Boy included.

we just adopted a 4th dog--she picked us last spring when she was at her foster home across the street and she kept running to our porch and looking in the window. she has been treated for heartworm...and now walks on a leash without fear of the world and is awesome.

That is wonderful...I've been away since Sunday and kept wondering how you were all getting on together. Tuesday, you are a very fortunate dog...now, be a blessing to your family, OK?
Hugs, pats and general excitement xxx
