Look Familiar?

This dog has never appeared on this blog before. She is about 5 years old, and today is the first time she has ever entered this house.

This is Tuesday.

(Creepy, ain't it?)

See those white toes? (You-know-who didn't have white toes.)

And her tail fur is longer.

And her ears don't stand up in quite the same alert fashion.

Totally different dog, really.

She's really soft, and very sweet so far, and she needs somewhere to live besides the vet's office, where she was left tied to a bench early one morning more than three months ago. So we have her until Monday, when we are supposed to tell them if we're going to keep her.

What a sweet girl! Here's the biggest difference I see: Tuesday has that look of not knowing where her home is (yet). Hope this works out for all of you. What does The Boy think?

She's a beauty! Josie and Boudreaux send their love. Me, too.

My cat Bean has decided not to swat Tuesday's nose, which is as close to approval as you'll get from her.

Adorable. Totally different dog of course. Not a replacement of course. But she is adorable.

Miss Gertie says, "Tuesday, play your cards right and you'll have a forever home. It worked for me even after I chewed up several hundred dollars of Mamas' things!"

My mom had the fortunate opportunity to meet her, and said she is even sweeter in person than in the pics. And so importantly, she and The Boy seemed to get along great! Big thumbs and paws up from us!

Awwww...she's lovely. I admit, I think you-know-who was just a bit more beautiful, but there is indeed a remarkable similarity.

That's very sweet of you.

If I had the resources, I'd participate in Rabbit Rescue and foster homeless bunnies.
