I think it's worked reasonably well so far, but I guess we'll really see in a couple of weeks.

Plenty of room on this soapbox for you to join me! ;-)DogBloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16188110384649189032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66844036416799569.post-13714057909412302252009-09-14T11:16:07.038-05:002009-09-14T11:16:07.038-05:00Preach on!

We're doing a small group study of Maxie Dunnam's Irresistible Invitation this year, which focuses on more than just financial giving.
And maybe there's an avenue for you: talk very matter-of-factly about your experience increasing your giving to 10%, and then talk about other ways we are called to give in addition to money. The new UM membership vows might be a help there...

Hmm...mind if I join you on that soapbox, btw?RevAnnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06517879408823780530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66844036416799569.post-61358213755565432332009-09-13T17:10:34.710-05:002009-09-13T17:10:34.710-05:00What DO you do, besides quietly giving and quietly...What DO you do, besides quietly giving and quietly serving? Leading by example doesn't seem to work very well. So many people have said to us, "I'm so glad YOU'RE doing that..."

Great exhortation, IMHO, but yes, it would backfire on you.zorrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00301856272073306968noreply@blogger.com
